Angel Knox, MSN, APRN-CNP, PMHNP-BC
Hi, I’m Angel Knox, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of EmpowerU Psychiatry and Wellness.
With over 18 years of nursing experience, much of it in psychiatric inpatient and emergency care, I’ve witnessed how deeply mental health impacts every part of a person’s life.
I started EmpowerU with a calling: to be a source of light, healing, and renewal for those navigating life’s toughest challenges. My care is rooted in compassion, clinical expertise, and faith. I believe true healing is possible when we care for the whole person, mind, body, and spirit.
Beyond clinical care, I am also a proud educator, mentoring the next generation of nurses as an adjunct clinical instructor. My inspiration comes daily from my faith, family, and the resilient people in my community who deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported.
